The name Meshuggah is taken from the Hebrew and Yiddish word for "crazy". They have had a few line-up changes over the years. Sometimes their music is described as "Math Metal". Meshuggah stands out from other heavy metal bands by their unique complexities that contains harsh vocals, dissonant dense guitar riffs, and a somewhat mechanical style
